How To Share Screens Using Already Installed Apps on Your Mac

With the help of the Screen Sharing softwares, anyone can share a single desktop on multiple computer screens. And other computers can control your desktop also. And to do so many third-party software are available on the internet, but this can also be done through already installed apps on Mac OS X.


With simple configurations, you can start sharing your screen to other computers.

The first step is to enable the support for sharing screen. Go to the System Preferences pane by clicking on the Apple icon. Now click on the Sharing tab, which is located under the Internet and Wireless option.
Now your can go to the Computer Settings and create a password so that anyone sharing your screen cannot get access to your mouse and keyboard without your permission.
You can turn your Screen Sharing On and Off by using the screen shown above. Although you can always turn it On if the users have limited access and you have no privacy issues.

Connecting To A Shared Computer Screen

If the other screen has been configured using the same procedure mentioned aboved, you can easily access its screen. You will see the host computer which wants to share its screen, in your sidebar. Click on this computer and click on the Share Screen button. You will be prompted for log-in. Give the correct log-in credentials and you have got the screen.
